Admissions Procedure
Consultation on the Admissions Policy 2026-2027
St Anne's CE Lydgate are announcing a consultation of their Admissions policy. This will take place for 6 weeks from Friday 14th November 2025, ending on Friday 26th December 2025.
The new policy considerations can be seen below.

The only change to this policy is the increase in PAN in KS2 to 32.

PRIMARY SCHOOL ADMISSIONS
St. Anne’s C. E. Primary School Academy has determined to operate admissions on the same basis as that used by the Local Authority and detailed in our Admissions Policy below.
All Local Authority admission arrangements can be found on the Oldham Council Website and should be followed when making application for a place at St. Anne’s. Please follow this link for relevant information / contact telephone numbers.

The over-subscription criteria for St Anne’s are:
- First Priority – Children with exceptional medical, social or educational needs.
- Second Priority – Children with brothers or sisters in attendance at the school.
- Third Priority – Geographical proximity and ease of access t to the school.
You can register an interest two years prior to admission by contacting the school office, who will be pleased to help.
The closing date for next academic year will be 5p.m. 15th January 2026
The last date that exceptional changes can be made is 22nd January 2026. Exceptional changes, such as moving house are explained on Oldham’s Primary School Admissions website.
The offer date for Primary School places is 16th April 2026.
