We celebrate our pupils in many ways at St Anne's CE Lydgate. Empowering pupils as leaders today, supporting and trusting our young people to assume real responsibilities, ensures that we are creating confident citizens with tangible growth-mindsets; which will certainly pave the way for tomorrow. This page shows our commitment to the children and how we value them as individuals with unique skills and talents.

Child Bishops

We are incredibly proud to be able to support the role of Child Bishop in school. Each year pupils in Year 6 are invited to apply for this important leadership role. These children are actively involved in leading our worship for all pupils in school and they undertake active roles in our church services and as general ambassadors for the school. The Child Bishops have a formal 'inauguration' in December, when Bishop Mark of Rochdale, joins us for a special service. This year Allie and Erin hold the role and have already begun to shape the role to their individual talents and skills. 'Everything is possible with God'.
